Nurses with a master’s degree can prepare for a career in academia with the Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education online from Olivet Nazarene University. Coursework combines core nurse educator competencies with concepts and theories in nursing practice.

Students will gain experience working with teaching and learning strategies, curriculum and course development, professional issues, and the monitoring and evaluation of student learning. Classes include ethical, moral, and spiritual concepts to help develop advanced knowledge and skills. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified Nurse Educator exam from the National League for Nursing.
