Old Dominion University offers the online Master of Science in Occupational and Technical Studies. This is an advanced master’s degree and requires prior academic work associated with this area of study. These studies are designed to help teachers and trainers upgrade their knowledge and skills and prepare for leadership roles in education and training.

Students can choose from the following four concentrations:

  • Career and Technical Education
  • Business and Industry Training
  • Community College Teaching
  • STEM Education

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or have work experience in an occupational/technical area
  • Overall GPA of 2.80 with a 3.00 in major courses
  • GRE or the Miller Analogy Test
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Essay
