Old Dominion University’s Master of Science in Computer Science program is designed for students who possess a strong background in computer science and are interested in expanding their knowledge in areas such as bioinformatics, data mining, digital libraries, high performance computing, networking, cyber security, software engineering, and computational foundations. Then in 1962, Old Dominion became an independent institution; and later in 1969, Old Dominion gained university status.
