Old Dominion University offers the online BS in Medical Technology as a degree-completion program. The medical technologist/medical laboratory scientist performs a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of disease by performing clinical laboratory tests on patients' blood, body fluids, and other specimens. This includes clinical tests within the areas of chemistry, microbiology, hematology, immunology/serology, urinalysis, immunohematology, and molecular pathology.

This is a bachelor completion program. A total of 120 credits are required, including transfer credits.
