The online Master of Public Administration (OMPA) program at Ohio University features a career-focused curriculum designed to help you become a confident and prepared leader. You’ll develop expertise and proficiency to address public needs in effective, efficient and imaginative ways.

As a top-ranked program, the online Master of Public Administration (OMPA) program offers a curriculum built for real challenges faced by public and nonprofit administrators. This 36-credit hour, two-year program focuses on relevant topics such as data analysis, public-private partnerships, and measuring outcomes. 

The faculty — which consists of leading scholars, researchers, and practitioners in the public administration field — bring years of practical experience to the online classrooms. The online Master of Public Administration (OMPA) offers four concentrations in Public Leadership and Management, Non-Profit Management, State and Local Government Management, and Crisis and Emergency Management.

Ohio University also offers a hybrid Executive Master of Public Administration program with both online coursework and in-person components. As a student in either part-time MPA program, you’ll learn alongside fellow leaders and have access to the same expert faculty and leading-edge curriculum online as you would on campus.
