Program Details

Gain the advanced knowledge and technical skills to lead data analytics efforts and contribute to business solutions. Housed within the AACSB-accredited College of Business, Ohio University’s online, Master of Business Analytics can be completed in 20 months and combines coursework in technology, strategic application and leadership. You will gain hands-on experience with the analytics tools used in the field today while developing technical competency to adapt to emerging technology in the future.

Regardless of your academic and professional background, you will graduate with the expertise needed for roles like business analyst, data scientist, IT systems analyst and market research analyst. Our curriculum allows students to build foundational knowledge early in the program, with more advanced analytics techniques and software introduced progressively. MBAn students can take one additional course to earn a Business Analytics Leadership Certificate. 

A Quantitative Bridge Course is available for students who wish to reacclimate to higher education prior to their first core course. Throughout your program, you will use common analytics and visualization software (Excel, Solver Analytics and Tableau) along with SQL, R and Python programming languages. MBAn students attend our Leadership Development Conference to connect with instructors, peers and alumni while hearing from guest speakers and participating in panel discussions, workshops and more.
