Program Details

Learn to analyze law with this online law degree. This is an interdisciplinary liberal arts degree focusing on law in relation to culture, society, politics, and power in U.S. and international contexts. Graduates pursue careers in research and policy, public agencies, advocacy organizations, private companies, and NGOs, or pursue further education in law school and Ph.D. programs.  

The curriculum consists of both a solid foundational core and interdisciplinary electives that examine law and legal institutions, their impact on society, and society’s impact on them. All courses are designed and taught by faculty with a Ph.D. or J.D.  

Flexibility is key in this online law degree. In addition to choosing electives, you can also choose between a research essay or a thesis. Earn your degree at your own pace.
