Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN)

Program Details

Ohio Christian University offers a RN to BSN degree completion program to students eager to further their education in the nursing field. The program is tailored for registered nurses who already hold an associate degree or its equivalent in nursing. Students learn how to incorporate Christian principles and concepts into their everyday nursing work, and how to use these values in their critical thinking, decision making, and application. Students who complete the program will have further skills in assisting patients’ bedside needs and managing other nurses as a unit educator or a clinical preceptor.


Degree completion requires a minimum of 120 credits, including transfer, program and general education requirements.

  • Program requirements: 48 credits
  • A minimum of 50 semester credit hours from an accredited institution of higher learning

  • Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the state he/she practices
