Program Details

OCU’s Information Technology major prepares students for a career in the information technology field. The Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology integrates information technology with business and equips students to plan, implement, and support information systems. Students will:

  • Evaluate current and emerging technologies against society's needs
  • Integrate Christian views into present issues and challenges in the field
  • Learn and apply management principles to different career paths within IT

Requirements

  • This degree requires a minimum of 50 semester credit hours from an accredited institution of higher learning prior to acceptance. For students who do not have the necessary transfer credits, they may be able to enroll in the online associate's degree first in order to complete their degree.
  • GPA of 2.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale) on all prior work
  • Official transcripts
