OCU’s Data Analytics major prepares students for a career in data analytics within the information technology area. Through this major, students define challenges in providing useful data acquired from multiple sources. How cross-organizational problems are resolved through the use of analytics is addressed. Important lessons taught in this program include:

- This degree requires a minimum of 50 semester credit hours from an accredited institution of higher learning prior to acceptance. For students who do not have the necessary transfer credits, they may be able to enroll in the online associate's degree first in order to complete their degree.
