Bachelor of Arts in Business with a concentration in Logistics Management
Ohio Christian University offers a Bachelor of Arts in Business with a concentration in Logistics Management. This higher learning program is designed to further education and train students in manufacturing logistics, inventory, and many different areas of management. Students will become competent in managing areas including customer service, information, purchasing and supplier, and distribution and warehouse. This is accomplished through studying movement, storage, and processing from start to end of the supply chain. Upon completion of the program, students will have valuable skills in managing the entire manufacturing process and applying Christian principles in critical thinking and decision making.
The BA in Business with a concentration in Logistics Management requires 48 semester credit hours and 16 required courses. This is part of the 124 credit hours that OCU requires its Adult Bachelor Program students to complete for graduation. Included in these required courses are Christian Excellence, Workgroup Technology, Ethics, Transportation Systems, Strategic Procurement, Theology, and Warehousing and Terminal Management among others. A combination of theology classes and management classes give students knowledge on how to combine Christian service with Logistics Management. Ohio Christian University also requires students of the program to have a 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA to graduate.
For enrollment in the BA in Business with a concentration in Logistics Management students must have completed at least 50 semester credit hours from an accredited institution of higher learning with an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher. Credit hours may also be earned through OCU’s Prior Learning Assessment program which grants credit hours for work experiences, self-study, seminars, training programs, workshops, and non-credit classes. OCU evaluates and grants up to 24 credit hours for the level of the student’s learning from these sources.
