Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice Technology program is designed to prepare individuals for entry-level positions in corrections, security, investigation, and police administration.  The curriculum includes both general education and criminal justice courses in a program that develops academic, occupational, and professional knowledge and skills in criminal justice, so students are able to find, retain, and advance in careers in the field.  You will be able to choose several electives that allow you to shape the program to better match your interests and career goals.  Courses include:

  • Introduction to Criminal Justice 
  • Corrections 
  • Principles of Law Enforcement 
  • Ethics and Cultural Perspectives for Criminal Justice 
  • Criminal Procedure 
  • Criminal Law for Criminal Justice

Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age
  • Official high school transcript or GED transcript
  • Official college transcripts, if applicable
  • SAT, ACT, or placement test scores
