Ocean County College’s online Associate of Science in Computer Science / Information Systems program prepares students to transfer to a four-year institution to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree. Course work follows the model provided by the Association of Computing Machinery and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Computer Society. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for a future in computer applications-oriented fields that combine computing, development of applications, and understanding how people, organizations and society make use of these tools.

Recommended criteria for admissions: high school diploma or equivalent. Cumulative high school grade point average of C or above. Ranked in the top half of high school graduating class. No developmental studies requirement.
