Prepare for a career working with a growing part of the student population with this online special education degree. This program is designed for certified teachers who are interested in teaching those with special needs. It is especially beneficial for those interested in teaching those with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

The curriculum is comprised of two parts. It focuses on both the broader concepts of exceptionality, which is learning, instruction, and development and on in-depth preparation in the area of ASD. Courses, which integrate theory and research, cover such topics as:
