Nova Southeastern University offers a Master of Science in General Psychology. This degree will prepare students to develop the necessary foundational knowledge in psychological theory and research for success in the competitive field.
Through the concentrations, the Psychology program will allow graduates to pursue a variety of professional careers within the fields of education, human services, counseling, and allied health and other fields of work in need of psychological knowledge and a working knowledge of psychological applications. In addition to earning the foundational knowledge in psychology, the specialized curriculum will also develop interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and the knowledge and skills to excel graduates in the increasingly diverse social agencies, school and community settings, in business and industry environments, and hospitals.
Students must have a GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 credits of undergraduate study OR completion of a minimum of 18 credits of graduate study with a GPA of 3.0 or better OR completion of the GRE test with a preferred score of 1000 (verbal and quantitative).
