The College Student Affairs degree program is designed to prepare students for entering into the more professional role of a student affairs representative in a modern and college and university educational environment. Students will learn the practical application methods of student affairs administration and conflict analysis and resolution in higher education settings. The masters curriculum is comprised of 45 credit hour, and students can choose between two concentrations: Conflict Analysis and Resolution or Student Affairs in Higher Education.
Student affairs professionals are trained in course topics that delve into the key concepts associated with the interaction and communication of students. Some topics of study include courses in psychology, business, law, communication, inter and intra-personal counseling, higher education, and group dynamics.
