Master of Science in Information Technology in Education
Nova Southeastern University, primarily located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, offers a Master of Science in Information Technology in Education (MITE) degree program. The program is designed to expand on the already learned foundations of students with undergraduate majors in science, math, engineering, or business as well as introduce the advanced concepts of an educational impact within an IT program. Prospective students should have a working knowledge of structured programming in a modern high-level language as well as assembly language and computer organization.
The M.S. in Information Technology in Education is comprised of 36 credit hours and includes a core curriculum of Masters courses in addition to the specialized coursework to meet the needs of working professionals such as educators, trainers, administrators, technical support staff, and developers working in the public or private sector. The Education emphasis of the IT program blends educational theory and practice with the skills applicable to complex real-world problems.
