The online Master of Science in Health Law provides health care professionals with an understanding of how health care intersects with the law. This program supplies health care professionals with the legal knowledge needed to communicate effectively on a variety of issues related to health law, allowing them to understand how to research legal issues and apply this knowledge to their chosen professions. Courses teach students to identify applicable statutory law, case law, and administrative codes and incorporate these concepts into their healthcare law research and writings, and teaches students to verbally communicate complex medical issues using the proper legal terms, including legal citations, to counsel.
