The online Graduate Certificate in Transnational Threat Analysis program is designed for students who want to learn more about the national security and intelligence studies fields but are not yet ready to commit to a master’s degree or for those that are only interested in learning about one part of the master’s degree. This program teaches students about Homeland Security and dealing with man-made and natural incidents, including terrorism, mass-casualty events, and pandemic outbreaks. Students learn to evaluate security policies, strategies, operational theories, and issues from domestic and international perspectives; analyze policy issues related to cooperation among the international community, state governments, and private industry; and understand, explain, and respond to various transnational man-made and naturally occurring threat vectors.
