Bachelor of Social Work
Our Lady of the Lake University

Program Details

Prepare to become a Licensed Social Worker at the bachelor’s level in Our Lady of the Lake University's CSWE-accredited online Bachelor of Social Work (BSW).

Over the span of 120 hours of coursework, you will learn about generalist social work practice, policy and direct service, as well as human behavior.

Our BSW is one of only three in the U.S. to emphasize the urgent needs of Hispanic populations. You may also earn certification in Violence Prevention and Intervention to address poverty, exploitation and abuse.

Gain hands-on experience in social work settings through a fieldwork practicum and receive support from our placement specialist.

In addition, by completing the BSW you will be prepared for the advanced degree, which allows you to complete your Master of Social Work even faster.
