Notre Dame's online B.A. in Emergency Management and Policy Studies program teaches you how to manage public safety issues, human behavior during a crisis, cultural considerations in an emergency and government agencies' roles in disaster response. 

Our program delivers an interdisciplinary and hands-on approach that builds the range of skills you need to be a strong leader.

You will use state-of-the-art software training to conduct crisis simulations, create after-action reports and improve crisis decision-making.

Learn policy process and development so you have an understanding of contemporary issues in emergency management at local, state and national levels. 

You can graduate from the program in as little as two years, emerging as a leader who can mitigate, prepare for, respond to and recover from natural disasters and man-made emergencies. You will be ready for government and state positions, as well as roles in hospitals, research institutions and public health organizations.
