Northwood University offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing for students who want to learn about business markets and how to advertise and relate products to their customers. Students will learn about how product and business marketing is broken into a number of steps or categories and how to utilize knowledge of markets, brand advertising, product development, research, and focused strategies. Through the program, student will learn about building brand value by making marketing decisions. The program consists of business fundamentals in addition to principles and practices utilized in marketing by organizations. Those classes include Principles of Advertising, Financial Management, and Fundamentals of Managerial Accounting.
Students completing the program will have demonstrated the necessary educational and professional qualifications for entry-level roles within organizations that utilize marketing. These qualifications include but are not limited to the ability to demonstrate a foundation in the broader marketing principles, along with a specialized focus on the most current marketing communications tools; to develop a mastery of theory through practice in marketing; and to develop skills and abilities that demonstrate understanding of the four P’s of marketing, and of media and advertising of products.
