Program Details

The online Master of Science in Homeland Security program helps students understand the emerging issues of globalization and the “new world order.”  Students will study transnational security issues, international and domestic terrorism, the identification and interorganizational characteristics of terror groups and transnational organized crime, and the balance between constitutional issues and homeland security.  You will also take courses in cyberwarfare, network security, cyberforensics, and intelligence analysis while learning about diplomacy, leadership, ethics, counterterrorism, advanced criminal investigation, and conflict resolution.


  • A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 2.5 quality point average on all undergraduate hours pursued
  • Official transcripts from all universities attended
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • GRE total scores for verbal and quantitative sections of at least 282
