You can earn teacher certification in Mild/Moderate Special Education with the Master of Arts in Teaching in Mild/Moderate, Grades 1-5. This online program also provides certification in a regular content level or area, such as elementary education.

Professionals outside of academia with a bachelor’s degree can work towards their initial teacher certification in Louisiana with this special education master’s degree. Candidates must complete specific requirements to graduate. These include:
