Program Details

Northwestern State University of Louisiana’s Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems prepares students for a wide variety of computer-based careers. The curriculum involves theoretical studies and hands-on classes that include databases, networks, programming, and more. Students will gain experience and know-how in internet web design and mobile applications, preparing them for a career needed in many market areas.

Requirements

Students must complete 120 credits of study. Official high school transcripts. ACT, SAT scores. All transcripts from other universities and/or community colleges (if applicable).

Geographic Restrictions

Exams may need to be proctored. A few classes require certification exams to be taken at a Certiport testing center or other location approved to give those exams.
