Program Details

The online Master of Education in Early Childhood program is designed for teachers who are ready to further their educations in grades PreK-3.  The curriculum builds on knowledge and skills that teachers have already been using in their classrooms to help them become even better teachers.  Graduates are prepared for careers as early childhood administrators, specialists, and consultants.  Courses include:

  • Collaboration & Advocacy in the Early Childhood Community
  • Advanced Child Development
  • Leadership of Early Childhood Programs
  • Strategies for Early Literacy Development
  • Science and Math in Early Childhood: A STEM Approach

Requirements

  • A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale 
  • Degrees from colleges accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education [ABHE] or affiliated with the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges & Universities [TRACS] will be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • Official transcripts 
  • Provide a copy of teaching license
