The curriculum helps students incorporate physical activity as an innovative learning tool in and outside the classroom and teaches adaptive physical education techniques. Courses explore contemporary teaching approaches to health, physical education, and recreation; the role of adaptive PE as a way to differentiate instruction among students with diverse needs; and ways to develop and implement a comprehensive school health program from the ground up.
