The Undergraduate Certificate in Paralegal Technology program offered by Northwest Mississippi Community College is a program of study that is available to students in a completely online format. The curriculum of the Paralegal program is in accordance with the American Bar Association’s guidelines and in consultation with local to Northwest Mississippi area legal practitioners.

Graduates of this program should be prepared to find employment as a paralegal in law firms, corporate legal departments, insurance companies, real estate development companies, title insurance firms, and banks. In addition to those settings, graduates of a paralegal program can find employment in environments such as community legal service programs, consumer organizations, federal agencies, state agencies, and local agencies, as well as other organizations who need or provide legal assistance.
