Associate of Science in Paralegal Technology
The Associate of Science in Paralegal Technology program offered by Northwest Mississippi Community College is a program of study that is available to students in a completely online format. The curriculum of the Paralegal program is in accordance with the American Bar Association’s guidelines and in consultation with local to Northwest Mississippi area legal practitioners.
The concepts and skills covered in this program include:

Graduates of this program should be prepared to find employment as a paralegal in law firms, corporate legal departments, insurance companies, real estate development companies, title insurance firms, and banks. In addition to those settings, graduates of a paralegal program can find employment in environments such as community legal service programs, consumer organizations, federal agencies, state agencies, and local agencies, as well as other organizations who need or provide legal assistance.
Official transcripts from accredited high school or official GED scores. ACT/SAT scores (Adult students can take placement test in lieu of ACT/SAT exams.). Official college transcripts (if applicable).
