Program Overview

Northwest Mississippi Community College offers the Associate of Arts in Office Administration. This program is designed to prepare students for roles as office managers, administrators and secretaries for various types of businesses and corporations. Office administrators provide administrative and business support to an individual or an entire office, and implement the following:

  • answer e-mail correspondence
  • set up scheduling programs
  • order office supplies
  • book travel
  • make databases
  • keep filing systems intact

    Requirements

    Established in 1915, Northwest Mississippi Community College is a public, two-year institution of higher education. As part of their mission statement, Northwest Mississippi Community College operates “to provide the students of its eleven-county district and beyond with opportunities for obtaining affordable quality education to meet their diverse needs.”
