Program Overview

The Associate of Arts in Business Administration offered by Northwest Mississippi Community College is a program of study that is offered to students in a completely online format. This program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge to either pursue employment directly after graduation or to further their academic pursuits by matriculating into a Bachelor’s level degree program at a senior institution like a college or university. Business Administration prepares students for a wide range of business related courses of study. A student who pursues a Business Administration Associate’s degree can go on to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or the following: banking and finance, business management, financial planning, health care administration, health care information systems, human resource management, insurance and risk management, international business, marketing, marketing communications, production management, pharmaceutical sales, and real estate.

    Established in 1915, Northwest Mississippi Community College is a public, two-year institution of higher education. As part of their mission statement, Northwest Mississippi Community College operates “to provide the students of its eleven-county district and beyond with opportunities for obtaining affordable quality education to meet their diverse needs.”
