Program Details

An Early Childhood Education associate’s degree online prepares professionals to teach young children before they enter formal schooling. Graduates can pursue positions with childcare programs, Head Start, military childcare, preschools, and pre-Kindergarten programs.

Students will learn how to provide a safe and healthy environment for children ages 0-4 in their care. Classes explore ways to plan and implement daily programming, complete developmental assessments, and communicate with families. Graduates can transfer into the school’s online bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Graduates of this program are also eligible to receive certifications in:

  • Child Development Early Intervention
  • Child Care Center Management Specialization
  • Infant/Toddler Specialization
  • Preschool Specialization
