Program Details

The online Diploma in Medical Office Specialist program is designed for students interested in developing the skills needed for working in medical practices from an administrative standpoint and providing assistance to medical professionals by providing basic business operations.  The curriculum prepares students to provide clinical and administrative assistance to physicians and other medical personnel through responsibilities including patient appointment scheduling, telephone communications, medical record maintenance, medical transcription, and patient billing.
