Program Details

The online AAS in Medical Administrative Assistant program is for students interested in careers within doctor’s offices or other health care facilities, with the responsibilities of medical front desk workers.  The curriculum teaches students the necessary technical, medical, and administrative knowledge to fulfill those responsibilities, as well as coding programs and other medical language applications.  Courses teach skills in identifying, administering, and documenting medication; collecting, processing, and documenting follow-up results; applying quality control and safety principles in the workplace; and performing and documenting routine clinical procedures according to office protocol.

  • Accuplacer assessment may be required
