The Bachelor of Science in Wellness & Alternative Medicine is an online health and wellness degree that provides those seeking a science-based degree with the opportunity to study alternative health practices.  With this degree you will study the theory and practice of holistic medicine from experts in the field while preparing for a wellness-based career.  The curriculum examines the social, cultural, political, and psychological dimensions of various health care systems in a rigorous, science-based program that emphasizes holistic models for health, wellness, and healing.  This is your chance to explore the new horizons of health care and to gain an understanding of the mind-body connection and its role in personal wellness and well-being.  Students also study the role wellness plays in developing sustainable communities and learn to make informed healthcare decisions and lifestyle choices through scientific knowledge and practical skills.  In addition to Western, or allopathic, medicine, courses also cover:
