Program Details

The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice is an online criminal justice degree from Northern Vermont University with a concentration in Restorative Justice.  This program focuses on complex social justice issues related to crime, punishment, and victimization.  The criminal justice curriculum covers such issues as race, class, and gender while also exploring current trends ad controversies in the field.  The restorative justice concentration prepares students to work with victims and offenders, bringing them together so that the offenders understand the harm they caused, and the parties can reach a restitution agreement.  Graduates will have a cross-cultural competency that allows them to work with people from diverse backgrounds with diverse life experiences.
