Program Details

The online Bachelor of Science in Library Informatics program is designed for students who want to study the science of connecting people with technology and information.  The curriculum prepares students to manage information and use it effectively in all of its many forms and functions.  Courses focus on three broad areas of expertise for information specialists:

  • Organizing information
  • Accessing information 
  • Assessing information


  • Final and official high school transcript or GED scores
  • Official transcripts from each college attended
  • ACT, SAT or COMPASS/Accuplacer test scores (if GPA is less than 2.0 and fewer than 24 transferable credit hours). Students 21 years and older who have never attended college may submit COMPASS/Accuplacer test scores scheduled through the school.
