The online Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice program focuses on three major aspects of the criminal justice system: police, courts, and corrections, preparing students for careers in these areas. The curriculum uses an interdisciplinary approach to the understanding of theories, issues, and traditions underlying criminal justice and criminal behavior and to theories of crime. Students learn about the philosophy and history of law enforcement, crime and police problems, the organization and jurisdiction of various law enforcement agencies, and about the American court system. You will look at the concepts of morality and law and their relationships while focusing on the ethical underpinnings of justice and the law.
