Program Details
The online master’s in Social Work from Northern Arizona University focuses on working with marginalized populations. The Advanced Standing program is available to students who have completed a BSW degree from an accredited school.
Students will learn ways of working with diverse groups of clients to allow those clients to reach their goals. A guided field placement allows students to experience working with individuals and groups with the supervision of an experienced practitioner. Social workers can help a multitude of clients including the elderly, children, military, domestic violence victims, those with mental illness, and homeless populations.
