Program Details

Northern Arizona University offers an online liberal arts degree, the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Industrial Leadership for those interested in leadership roles within industrial organizations. This is an application-oriented program with an emphasis on real-world relevant content as students prepare to become leaders for the fourth industrial revolution. This liberal arts degree focuses on written, verbal, and virtual communication skills; creative problem-solving; teamwork; and ethical leadership, providing quality education in leadership within the industrial technology industries, general business, and liberal studies. Graduates are prepared to fill leadership roles within industrial organizations, to solve problems, and to meet organizational objectives.  

This liberal arts degree is a bachelor completion program with students transferring credits from community colleges or other institutions into NAU and only the remaining 30 credits provide a basis for assessment of student learning objectives at NAU.
