Program Details

Students interested in sociology, psychology, social work, or counseling may find the online Associate of Arts in Behavioral Science beneficial to their career. At Northeast Community College, students have the potential to earn a degree in two years and build a strong foundation in fields that require a great deal of human interaction.

Individuals in this program have the option of entering the workforce after completing their associate’s degree or continuing their education at a four-year college or university. Through successful completion of this program, students should be qualified and prepared to seek employment as health and human services aides, case aides, or community support workers. Students wanting to transfer and obtain a bachelor’s degree should be able to look for positions in counseling, rehabilitation or social work.

High school transcripts. Previous college transcripts (if applicable). ACT/SAT scores (if you don’t have SAT or ACT scores you must complete the ASSET/COMPASS placement test).
