Program Details

Northeast Community College offers an online humanities degree, the Associate of Arts in Social Science.  This degree strives to provide students with the decision-making and problem- solving skills needed in the social science field.  With this humanities degree, students develop a broad perspective in the human condition, developing an awareness of the nature of humans in social, political, historical, and individual contexts.  Coursework encourages intellectual curiosity and an appreciation of human diversity.   

Students enrolled in this humanities degree program have the potential to complete their associate’s and transfer to a four-year college to complete the final two years of their bachelor’s degree.
