Northcentral University’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Management and Organizational Leadership program will help students prepare for management roles within hospitals and other healthcare delivery organizations. This is a practice-based program designed to align with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials and the nurse leader competencies from the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE). Students will explore the principles of health care administration, data-driven decision making, healthcare law, and resource and financial management. The program also covers best practices for recruitment, retention and staffing strategies.
This program includes a combination of online coursework and in-person practice experience hours.
To enroll, students must have, and maintain throughout the program, a current, active and unencumbered license as a registered nurse (RN).
