Program Details

Instructional design is a field that works to better understand the learning process and find ways to connect people with the information they need to thrive. Northcentral University’s Master of Science in Instructional Design program will help students learn how to apply instructional design theory to the creation of learning and training materials. This includes hands-on experience in planning, analysis, development and project management. Upon graduation, students will be prepared to take on a range of roles across multiple sectors including areas such as education, business and manufacturing. Students will learn the fundamentals of instructional design, how to analyze the needs of learners and how to develop powerful and engaging learning materials. Additionally, students will explore design principles for multimedia learning and get valuable hands-on experience.

Requirements

  • Admission to the Masters program requires a conferred post-baccalaureate master’s degree and/or doctoral degree from a regionally or nationally accredited academic institution
