Whether it is the practice of visualization, acute focus or developing positive habits, athletes rely upon psychological techniques to excel.  With this online MA in Sports Psychology, you can expand your professional knowledge and gain insight into the minds of athletes.  You’ll learn contemporary practices and theories of sport psychology to use in a variety of settings, from the local high school gymnastics team to the NHL.  Coursework integrates field work and incorporates all eight subject areas required for the CMCP (Certified Mental Performance Consultant) certification.  Samples of coursework may include:
