The online Healthcare Receptionist Technical Diploma is designed as an extension of the Office Assistant Technical Diploma or Administrative Professional Associate Degree program by preparing students to perform a variety of office support functions within health care organizations.  The curriculum prepares students to perform medical office administration functions; model professional behavior, ethics, and appearance in the health care environment; produce medical and business documents; apply medical language and AHDI formatting guidelines in all medical documents; provide customer service skills professionally, and use appropriate technology and technical skills to manage information and solve problems.
