North Shore Community College was founded in 1965, which makes it one of the oldest and largest of the fifteen community colleges in Massachusetts. North Shore Community College is a two-year, public institution of higher learning. North Shore Community College operates with the mission to “Blend tradition and innovation, liberal arts and career preparation, intellectual development and cultural and personal growth, in order to foster a diverse and caring community of learners where all are welcome and each is challenged.”
