Program Details

The online Microsoft Office Essentials Certificate program from North Hennepin Community College is designed to provide students with the essential computer skills needed in industry today. Courses, which can be applied toward the AAS or AS in Business Computer Systems & Management degree, prepare students to:

  • Perform specialized tasks using Microsoft Office applications
  • Maintain computer information records

Requirements

  • Official high school transcript or GED certificate (if graduated in the past 5 years)
  • ACCUPLACER placement test (may be waived if the student has completed a college-level English composition or math course, or has recently taken the ACCUPLACER, ACT, MCA, or SAT and has qualifying test scores)
