Program Details

The online Entrepreneurship Certificate program from North Hennepin Community College is designed for students exploring management and/or owning their own business. Graduates possess the knowledge and skills needed to:

  • Use quantitative analysis of financial information & accounting concepts to interpret information
  • Develop a managerial strategic plan that includes critical elements of planning, organizing, leading & controlling
  • Illustrate the marketing concept through the completion of a comprehensive marketing plan
  • Produce a business model & business plan


  • Official high school transcript or GED certificate (if graduated in the past 5 years)
  • ACCUPLACER placement test (may be waived if the student has completed a college-level English composition or math course, or has recently taken the ACCUPLACER, ACT, MCA, or SAT and has qualifying test scores)
