Program Details

The online AAS in Behavioral Health Support degree from North Central Missouri College is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students for entry-level positions in a variety of professions aimed at helping people, society, and their communities, such as human service agencies, substance abuse counseling, and correctional facilities. Courses cover topics including, but not limited to:

  • Abnormal Psychology
  • Wellness Coaching
  • Systems of Care/Support
  • Human Growth & Development
  • Medical Law & Ethics


  • High school transcript, GED certificate, or certificate of completion and transcript from a homeschool program
  • College transcripts (if applicable)
  • The following criteria must be met to participate in the required practicums for this program:
    • Satisfactory background check
    • Driving record cannot show a DUI or major traffic offense within the past 5 years
    • Proof of auto insurance
